Privacy Policy
What OJT Log stores, how optional cloud sync works, and the choices you have.

1. Your journal and settings
OJT Log stores the information you enter: attendance dates, work sessions, daily notes, profile/OJT details, required hours, appearance and reminder preferences. It uses this information to show your journal, calculate hours, export reports, and deliver the reminders you choose.
2. Local storage
Your journal and settings are stored on your device. Windows data is kept separately from the installed program, under your Windows user profile. Updating the program does not intentionally erase your journal. Exported reports and JSON backups are separate files you control. They can contain personal information; share them only with people you trust.
3. Optional Google Drive sync
Google connection is optional. If you connect, the app sends your journal and supported settings to its application-data folder in your Google Drive. Devices connected to the same Google account can read that data. Journal records, profile/OJT details, and the four reminder clock times sync across Android and Windows. Other supported editable preferences sync within the same platform. OS permissions, battery controls, and Windows startup preferences are not synced. The app requests Drive application-data access, not access to all Drive files. Google handles its own sign-in; the app does not ask you to type your Google password into OJT Log. Authorization credentials are kept separately from manual backups. Windows credentials are encrypted for your Windows user. The cloud copy is not end-to-end encrypted by OJT Log; Google processes data under its own policies. Internet access and authorization are needed for sync.
4. Notifications and startup
Reminder times and attendance state are passed to the operating system so local reminders can run outside the app window. Notification visibility, sound, lock-screen access, and delivery depend on your permissions and device settings. On Windows, startup defaults to on for new users and can be disabled in Settings > Windows. An existing saved off preference is preserved.
5. External services and choices
Google sign-in/Drive and optional external support/payment links are operated by their respective providers. Opening a support link can share standard web request information with that provider. Google and those providers have their own privacy policies. Cloud connection and external support links are optional. The current app does not add advertising or analytics SDKs.
6. Keeping and removing information
Local data is kept until you remove it or the device/profile is cleared. Deleting journal history while connected also syncs those deletions. This does not delete previously exported files. Disconnecting/revoking Google access does not by itself erase the existing cloud copy or local journal. You can revoke access through your Google account and manage/delete the app's stored application data through Google Drive settings. Removing the Windows program folder alone does not delete the separate Windows journal profile. Keep a backup before replacing/restoring or permanently deleting data.
7. Installation acknowledgement
Setup records the accepted policy version, app version, and acceptance time locally in the installation folder. It does not upload that acknowledgement. Reading this policy does not connect Google or grant OS notification access.

9. This website and support
This public information website does not offer journal upload or Google sign-in. It does not add advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Its hosting provider processes standard request information, such as IP address and browser details, to serve and protect the website. If you email support, KM STUDIO receives the information you send and keeps it as needed to handle your request. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or unredacted sensitive journal data.
Google services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Google user data accessed by OJT Log is used to provide the sync features described here, not for advertising or sale.
